Dr. Sylvia Wulf is a qualified optometrist with over 20 years of experience in contact lenses and optometry. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Optometry from Salus University (USA) in 2005 and completed her PhD at the University of Hamburg in 2025. She spent a research period at the CCLRU in Sydney (Brien Holden Vision Institute). There, she worked with leading scientists to investigate the function of modern orthokeratology.

Since 2003, she has been a lecturer at the Fielmann Academy Schloss Plön and, since 2018, she has also been a regular lecturer at the Technical University of Lübeck in the field of medical optics. She is particularly interested in contact lens fitting for complex corneal situations, tear film analysis, and corneal biomechanics. She is the author of various specialist articles and a speaker at seminars and conferences.
